Meet Saraiah
Based in Southern California, Saraiah is a licensed marriage and family therapist and founder of Rooted Foundations, a mental health practice that helps children, families, parents and couples create peace and security in their relationships.
She earned her MS in Marriage and Family Therapy from Fuller Theological Seminary, and has worked in the field of mental health for more than 10 years.
Saraiah has helped bring restoration and hope to the lives of her clients through her ability to connect and attune to their individual needs. Saraiah holds special certifications in treating couples, infants/toddlers, parenting issues, trauma, depression and anxiety.
Areas of Expertise
We help patients manage the roller coaster of emotions and ongoing stress, rather than focusing on finding closure. Closure implies resolution, which may not be possible with the prolonged nature of loss or infertility.
We're here to be present and listen. Typically, this is what is missing when family and friends offer comments. They end up being hurtful or invalidating to the person experiencing loss or infertility.
We assist clients in articulating what they need from others around them. This may also incorporate methods for helping clients increase their assertiveness or self-confidence.
